Lagna means an auspicious moment in time, indicating the events of one’s birth or the rising sign in the eastern horizon at the time of birth. During a day, all the 12 zodiac signs raise consequently one after other after every 2 hours. Therefore two individuals that take birth on the same day will fall under different Lagna; or with different degrees under the same Lagna.
